چکیده

In the present study, photocatalytic degradation of amisulpride using g-C3N4 catalyst under UV-A irradiation was investigated. The process evaluated in terms its effectiveness to remove from ultrapure and real municipal wastewater. High removal percentages were achieved both aqueous matrices. However, a slower rate observed wastewater as matrix that could be attributed complex chemical composition. transformation products (TPs) identified with liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) Based on TPs, pathways are proposed which include mainly oxidation, dealkylation, cleavage methoxy group. Photocatalytic Properties of g-C3N4–TiO2 Heterojunctions under UV and Visible Light Conditions

Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C₃N₄) and titanium dioxide (TiO₂) were chosen as a model system to investigate photocatalytic abilities of heterojunction system under UV and visible light conditions. The use of g-C₃N₄ has been shown to be effective in the reduction in recombination through the interaction between the two interfaces of TiO₂ and g-C₃N₄. A simple method of preparing g-C₃N₄ through the...

Mathematical modelling of an annular photocatalytic reactor for methylene blue degradation under UV light irradiation using rGO-ZnO hybrid

The application of heterogeneous photocatalysis in industrial scale has been hindered by a lack of simple mathematical models that can be easily applied to reactor design and scale-up. This work intends to use a simple mathematical model for predicting methylene blue (MB) degradation in a slurry-annular photocatalytic reactor using zinc oxide (ZnO) hybridized with reduced graphene oxide (rGO)-Z...
